Receptionist

The successful candidate will attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face in a highly professional manner. They will perform various tasks to include: answer telephone, expedite, screen and direct calls, greet persons entering organization and tend to them quickly and efficiently, deal with queries from the public and customers, sort incoming mail and deliveries. They will also provide administrative support to the Caprion team. Responsibilities include (not limited to): faxing/photocopying, filing, preparing letters and documents, general administrative and clerical support, handle purchase orders, maintain office supplies & equipment and manage conference room scheduling.

- Requires at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent

Senior Scientist – Protein Analysis

Caprion is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in protein and peptide analysis, including liquid chromatography and immunoaffinity enrichment techniques.

Proven proficiency at maintaining and troubleshooting chromatography instruments is required. The successful candidate will design and conduct laboratory experiments and interpret and report scientific results. Attention to detail and ability to work in a production environment, including writing and following Standard Operating Procedures, are essential. The candidate will join the Protein Analysis group and will be involved in methods development and sample preparation for LC-MS based proteomics studies.

Candidates for this position must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or biology or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Ability to communicate in both French and English would be beneficial.

Senior Scientist/Group Leader - Molecular & Cell Biology

Caprion is seeking a highly motivated and independent senior scientist or group leader, experienced in protein and antibody-based assay development.

The successful candidate will manage a team of researchers responsible for assay development including protein cloning and expression, and antibody generation, selection, and screening. 

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Molecular and Cellular Biology, the Senior Scientist/Group Leader will develop and manage large research programs, direct junior staff, and communicate with academic and industrial collaborators.

The position requires significant scientific organizational and communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and effectively in English for international partners.  A Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline is required, combined with a 5 year minimum successful track record in research.
